The North East of England is a wonderful region that comprises of Northumberland, Durham, Tyne & Wear and the Tees Valley. It is the most northern part of England. The region is full of things to do and see and is actually famous for its castles and broad golden beaches. In direct contrast the heart of Newcastle is famous for its vibrant nightlife and wonderful eating-places, which line the side of the River Tyne.

The entire North East of England is a wonderful buzzing area, full of some wonderful people and is bursting with plenty of things to do and see.

After Dark
Newcastle and the surrounding areas are full of places to go after dark with plenty of fun places to party, with some great bars and excellent nightclubs. Entertainment
If you're looking for a little bit of entertainment, why not watch one of the latest blockbuster movies at one of the regions Cinemas. Or if a live production is what you're looking for, why not take in an exciting new production from one of the top local Theatres & Concert Halls. If you're a bit of a gambler you could always try one of the regions Race Courses.

Get Active
If you're feeling fit and healthy and you're up for a bit of sport then try one of the regions Sport & Leisure Centres. All available for the general public to use. If a nice walk is more what your after, then take a trip to the coast or country and discover just how picturesque the region really is.

Getting Away
Fancy a change from the typical daily grind and the same boring surroundings. If so why not get away for a weekend at one of the regions Hotels & Inns. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous why not take a trip abroad for a few days. Their are plenty of local Travel Agents who will help you do so.
